Urumqi Airport "Smart Security" has entered the concrete implementation stage

News from Civil Aviation Resources Network on March 16, 2018: On March 15, the Urumqi International Airport access control system information collection work ushered in the seventh stop - the aircraft maintenance base of China Southern Airlines Xinjiang Branch.

This work is specifically carried out by the Security Technology Monitoring Center of the Fire Protection Department of the Wuhan Airport Branch. Based on the area, information collection personnel mainly provide door-to-door service and go to the terminal building and the office locations of each unit to collect relevant information. According to estimates, the information collection work is expected to cover more than 12,000 people and will take 40 days to complete. From March 5 to 15, information collection on more than 3,300 people has been completed, a quarter of the total.

The access control system is an important part of Urumqi's international security system and an indispensable key link in building a "smart airport". The information collection work of the access control system is based on the in-depth application of the integrated system of people and IDs and the precise management of terminal access control information used by personnel. It uses information technology to comprehensively improve the intelligent level of safe operation of the airport and lay a solid foundation for the construction of "smart security" .
