DJI UAV simple modification configuration enhances 4 times flight distance and height tutorial
First of all, it is stated that the country has strict restrictions on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, please fly the drones under the premise of legal compliance!
Generally, in the description of drone parameters on DJI's official website, we can often see three categories: FCC, CE, and SRRC:
So the first thing we need to know is, what are the three classifications of FCC, CE, and SRRC? In fact, to put it simply, FCC is an American standard, CE is an EU standard, and SRRC is a domestic standard. You can search for details by yourself. Undoubtedly, the two standards we see most are FCC and CE. Among them, SRRC and CE both have a transmission power of 0.09W, FCC has a transmission power of 0.4W, and FCC BOOST has reached a transmission power of 1.5W. Generally speaking, CE standards are used in other countries except the United States.
Of course, the most important thing is that under different standards, the flight distance of the aircraft has a big gap. The FCC official data can fly 7 Km, and the CE standard can only fly 4 Km. Can this still be a pleasant flight!
In this regard, a Russian master cracked the configuration file of DJI. By adding a configuration file to the specified path, we can switch between ce, fcc and boost transmission power.
Each configuration file parameter is as follows:
First download the configuration file, download address:
Follow and private message our keywords"DJI" to get the download link
Then import the configuration file:
1. DJI GO Android users: modify the file name to ".DJI.configs" (note, do not add quotation marks, just copy the name inside the quotation marks), and import the ".DJI.Configs" file to the following path: /Android/data/dji .pilot/files/.
2. DJI GO4 Android users: Change the file name to ".DJI.configs", and import the ".DJI.Configs" file to the following path: \Android\data\dji.go.v4\files.
3. IOS users: Change the file name to ".DJI.configs", and drag the ".DJI.Configs" file into the root directory of DJI GO or DJI GO 4 using iTunes or a third-party assistant.
The figure below shows the lines after the FCC is successfully turned on, and the 4KM horizontal line is above 100 on the vertical axis, indicating that the turn-on is successful.
test
The picture below shows the FCC pull distance test when the double battery is turned on.
With FCC turned on, it can reach 14KM (no interference area), and the image transmission signal is stable. It is not recommended to change it to boost mode, as too much power will increase the power consumption of the remote control.
The picture below shows the FCC with the Phantom 4P2.0 enabling the 5.8G frequency band.
