Qingdao News from our newspaper On August 25, the Future Agricultural Research Institute of Shandong Agricultural University was inaugurated in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao.

Relying on the superior disciplines of Shandong Agricultural University, the project will set up 9 research institutes, including smart agriculture, agricultural product processing, horticultural crops, field crops, animal science, edible fungi, trees and flowers, intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment, and green agricultural materials. New technologies, new varieties, and new models required for agriculture.

After the research institute is settled in the new area, the two parties will focus on rural revitalization and the development of modern and efficient agriculture, strengthen cooperation in personnel training, cooperation in scientific and technological projects, transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and construction of scientific research practice bases, and strive to create a model for rural revitalization on the west coast.
