Zhongnong's smart agricultural information comprehensive service platform and blueberry deep processing base project, with a total investment of 400 million yuan, mainly aimed at the needs of the Chinese market, building a smart agricultural information comprehensive service platform with content such as Internet of Things management, agricultural information and e-commerce services; The Food Research Institute is engaged in the research and development of leisure food production and its new technologies, new varieties and special equipment; in addition, it will introduce a fully automatic blueberry deep processing production line and build a 10,000-ton blueberry deep processing base. The Da Rong Yu seed production innovation base project, with a total investment of 120 million yuan, will build an innovation demonstration base for new agricultural varieties breeding and production.

It is understood that the Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone, as one of the top ten functional areas in Qingdao West Coast New Area, was approved to build a provincial-level agricultural high-tech industrial development zone in February 2017.
